Her versatility, articulacy, intelligence and effervescent personality have seen her successfully take on roles such as Advertising Coordinator and Content Producer at Now Media, Traffic Announcer and News Reporter at Talk Radio 702 as well as News Anchor at eNews Channel Africa (eNCA). Armed with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Science and over a decade in the media industry, Ayanda excelled as a Producer and Presenter for SABC 2’s flagship breakfast show: Morning Live. She engaged thought leaders as a co-anchor of Power Breakfast on Power FM and she continues to inspire South Africans as the host of television talk show Visionaries Lounge.
Ayanda is more than just a media personality, she is the Chief Executive Officer of Shekinah Media and a sought after Programme Director, Master of Ceremonies and Debate Facilitator. Over and above her work in broadcasting, the multilingual 33-year-old, Soweto born, mother of four is also a qualified Community Development Practitioner. Ayanda is the Founder of Bukho Bami Youth Centre, a Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans (2019), a Mandela Washington Fellow (2018), Hyundai Creta Ambassador & Pandora Love South Africa Ambassador.
Ayanda obtained her second BA Degree in Community Development, to add knowledge to her passion for justice, nation-building & social cohesion. She continues to grow and is now the Spokesperson for the National Ministry of Transport.
