Fatima Ouanssaidi is the CEO and a co-founder of On-Point PR with Vista Kalipa, an award-winning PR and communications agency based in Johannesburg. She is also the founder of and Executive Producer at Rif Productions, a content production company, as well as the elected head of the communications portfolio for Amasa (the Advertising Media Association of South Africa). She has studied and worked in a number of different countries, including the SA, UK, US, Kenya, Mozambique to name a few.
Due to their work ethic and personal reputations, OnPoint PR quickly established a good client base. Fatima now heads up a twelve-member team that is known for its creative approach to integrated PR campaigns that have included the Global Citizen Mandela 100 Festival, the Nedbank Cup, the Red Bull Music Festival, National Book Week, the SA Book Fair, the launch of the Gauteng Vision 2055 initiative, the Strongbow Crate Escape and the COP17 project for the Industrial Development Cooperation and the Department of Economic Development, as well as campaigns for clients such as Amex South Africa, Unilever and Makro.

Fatima is an enthusiastic professional who enjoys working within teams as well as leading them. She has extensive skills in the areas of corporate governance, new business development and financial management, as well as in-depth knowledge of project coordination, cost control and employee motivation practices. She originally qualified as a lawyer in the UK and went on to develop notable expertise in the media, particularly in the areas of lifestyle, fashion, sports, and government communications. Fully dialed into the networked economy, she ensures that On-Point makes maximum use of ICT in order maximise outcomes for its clients.
Fatima has a string of achievements under her belt, including the Sapphire Award for Women in Communications, which she received in Casablanca, Morocco in 2017, awarded by the King of Morocco. She has also been profiled in a number of international business magazines in her capacity as a young female entrepreneur in Africa and was featured on the CEOs Under 40 TV programme which airs on DsTV.
Always ahead of the curve, one of the highlights was speaking at the annual conference of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) on the topic of navigating the challenges of strategic communications in a complex and evolving financial services landscape.
Fatima holds an LLB from the University of Bristol (UK), where she also completed a post-graduate law practice course.
